New Acting Classes Starting Soon for Teens and Adults

Bluff City Theater Academy is pleased to announce two new programs starting soon for the budding performer in all of us.

Starting Thursday March 24, 6:30-8p.m.

Improv Acting for Teens

6 weeks for $80

Have you ever felt uncomfortable speaking in public? Do you feel self-conscious when called upon to present or lead a discussion? Are you nervous on stage? Improv Acting For Teens is the cure! You’ll learn to think on your feet, to get past self-consciousness and to work collaboratively with other actors to create funny, emotional and serious situations with little or no preparation.

Adult Acting classes

Starting Monday, March 21, 6:30-8pm.

6 weeks for $90.

Finally! We’ve been taking requests for awhile now from adults who want to improve their performance skills. You’ll learn how to create a role, stay in character and employ movement and expression to convey emotion. We’ll work on voice and diction, body movement and how to think on your feet. Plus! We’ll give you advice and tips on auditioning to help you land that part in theater. Whether you’re a serious actor or just interested in developing a new skill, everyone is welcome.

All BCT Academy programs end with a showcase presentation for friends and family.
