What people are saying about Bluff City Theater
What a wonderful evening our women's group had at the performance of The Lady with All the Answers last night!
We were transported back in time to Ann Lander's Chicago apartment in the 1970's through an outstanding performance and set design. We are very fortunate to have this theater here in Hannibal and if you haven't been to see a show yet, you are really missing out.
Anyone who knows me, knows that I don’t often get really moved by a show. If I publicly say something about a show, you can believe me that it is well worth your time and money to go see it.
Thank you Bluff City Theatre for bring this wonderful show to life for us to enjoy.
Every element was just wonderful, please let the cast, crew and all involved know just how much their hard work was enjoyed.
An amazing and wonderful production of Emily!
John 'JT' Taylor
Kirkwood Theatre Guild
Bill Sykes was wonderfully scary and loud!
I would like to see more over the top performances like that one!
TALES IS FANTASTIC!
Fantastic! What a moving performance. Please, Hannibal, get behind this treasure and support Bluff City Theater.
The performance was outstanding-The staging, the music, the actors!
Bill Sykes scared me! Fagin, Mr. Bumble, & Nancy were also impressive. It was very effective for the audience to be up close to the actors and participate in the play (especially the funeral parlor and the bar scene). My only regret is I did not attend an earlier production because I would have brought more people to another show.
Get Off Your Sofa
"It was a wonderful evening! Hannibalians, get up off your sofa and try something new."
I'm amazed and so pleased at the caliber of performances we keep seeing at Bluff City productions. Best of Enemies is an absolute must see. Keep up the good work!
Urban Indian Extraordinary
I attended Mr. Dennis performance of "Urban Indian" last Friday afternoon. It was amazing. He is a fine actor. I respectfully submit, however, that the ending did not live up to the rest of the story. It was so abrupt. A reference in his final comments to others besides his grandmother would have helped (mother, friends, his Jackie Mason God). Thanks for bringing such extraordinary art to the Midwest.
I attended the performance of The Heiress.
It was fantastic especially with the professional actors. I like the seating and stage arrangement and hope you can maintain that arrangement. Hannibal is lucky to have you in the city.
You were terrific! So glad I didn't miss this one!
