Gone Fishing…Back in September!

The Bluff City Theater offices will be closed until Monday August 30th while we take a holiday.  Don’t worry-we’ll still be checking email and phone messages so you can reach us if necessary. Come Visit Bluff City Theater During Twain on Main

We’ll be downtown during Twain on Main, today Saturday and tomorrow, Sunday  passing out brochures, answering questions and selling tickets four our upcoming productions of The Heiress and Environmental Oliver!. Individual tickets are $24.75 each or a 4-ticket flex pass good for both productions is $89.  The Heiress opens on June 19th and runs until July 30th.  Oliver! opens July 9th and runs through August 1st.   Look for us at the corner of Main and Broadway, stop by and say hello!

Calling all non-Equity Actors, Singers, Dancers and Musicians! Bluff City Theater is holding open auditions at the theater, tomorrow May 9th at 2 p.m. for anyone interested in being part of our cast for this summer’s productions of The Heiress (a period piece set in NYC in 1850) or Environmental Oliver! to be staged at the 1888-era Federal Building at 600 Broadway. Musicians wanted include accordion, guitar, mandolin, percussion, violin/fiddle, trombone, tuba, sax and clarinet. Looking for males and females any age for a number of singing and non-singing character roles. Looking for Accordion player, trombone, clarinet, percussion, guitar, violin players. Where: Bluff City Theater 212 Broadway When: Saturday May 9th 2 p.m. This will be a fairly informal audition.  Experience is not necessary.  Bring a spoken piece and a song if you are looking for a singing role (even Happy Birthday is fine).  Auditions for The Heiress begin June 1 and for Oliver!
