clark and rachaelClark as Roosevelt

Bluff City Theater’s second play of the 2015 Season opened last night to enthusiastic audience response.  Written by and starring Clark A. Cruikshank as Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Rachael Bradney Rice as Margaret (Daisy) Suckley, the play explores the life and legacy of America’s 32nd president.

Here’s what audiences are saying:

The show truly is amazing..it’s awesome to watch a show in such an intimate setting with such a truly, beyond talented cast that BECOME the characters they are portraying. The venue is the size that makes you forget you’re simply “watching a play”…it gives you the perception that you are actually there to be a part of it. You really go from spectator, to firsthand witness the second the house lights fade. Even if you’re not a history buff at all, but have any interest to not only see, but experience a live stage “performance”…then attend this production!Sean Major
Wonderful performance! Proud to have been there for the Premiere on Opening night.Kristy Trevathan
Get there if you can, folks. It’s a great show and Rachael Bradney Rice is terrific!-Jim Dewey
