Hitz of the Blitz is History But We’ll Always Have The Memories!
Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2015 Gala Fundraiser on Friday night a huge success! We were treated to spectacular dishes from a dozen local restaurants and an inspiring performance from an international cast of stars. Overall, the gala raised a record $11, 026 to support the work of Bluff City Theater- our professional performances and youth theater development right here in Hannibal.
We couldn’t have done it without the talented cast: Lisa Horner, Norah Long, Matt Rein, Clark A Cruikshank, Jim Dewey and Greg Gibson on the keyboards or our hardworking committee Kathy Haycraft, Debra Burton, Kristy Trevathan, Bill Martin, Pat Yapp, Karen Martino and Wesley Yargus. Special thanks also go out to MC Bob Yapp and auctioneer Jim Quinlan.
Bluff City Theater is a professional producing theater committed to delivering original and exciting theatrical performances to enhance the qulaity of life for both citizens and visitors to the area and to developing a theater culture through development and training of youth and young people in all aspects of theater. The gala proceeds represent just 10% of our operating budget. For the rest we rely on ticket sales, sponsorships, grants and individual donors like you.
Hitz of the Blitz is history but we still have one great WWII event upcoming- The Big Band Concert of 1945! Book your tickets today for Saturday March 28th at Hannibal High School.
