UNFINISHED-setIf you haven’t seen Bluff City Theater’s new production yet, there is still time!  Shows run tonight, Friday, at 7:30 p.m. and again tomorrow. Saturday February 28th at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m.

Audiences have been talking about the tremendous performance of Clark A. Cruikshank as Franklin Delano Roosevelt.  Using Roosevelt’s own words, Cruikshank explores FDR’s relationship with the American people and with Margaret (Daisy) Stuckley, his personal assistant and future curator of his presidential library at Hyde Park.  The only man to be elected to the nation’s highest office 4 times, the 32nd President led the country through some of its darkest days.

Unfinished: explores how, through the use of his speeches and Fireside Chats, FDR was able to bring an entire nation over to his point of view on many diverse issues that troubled the country- banking reform, economic policy, an end to isolationism, support of  the Allied forces in Europe and finally, America’s entry into the second world war.

If you love good theater or history, you will love Unfinished:The Last Fireside Chat.  Join us for one of the final three performances of this world-premiere production.  Individual tickets are just $24.75, or buy a 4-ticket flex-pass that can be used in any combination of 4 tickets for any of the remaining BCT productions this summer.  For just $89, you can see Unfinished:, The Big Band Concert of 1945 and this summer our environmental production of Lionel Bart’s Oliver! and our all-star cast production of Ruth and Augustus Goetz’ The Heiress.
